Development points and characteristics
                  	
                  	
                  	The mission of continuing education shall be to enrich the general knowledge of the 
                  	nation's  citizens,  raise the nation's level of education, increase production and 
                  	competiveness, disseminate practical skills, foster the development of vigorous and
                  	well-rounded citizens, and spur social progress.  Being subject to this goal,NTCUST
                  	completely  takes  advantage  of  such  educational  resources  as school’s current
                  	manpower  and  equipment providing adult the opportunity of continuing education in
                  	order to upgrade the quality of nation’s manpower. Under endeavored cultivation for
                  	many years,our teaching quality is improved increasingly,and the student’s quality is
                  	also enhanced year by year; its effort has been confirmed and praised by social public.
                  	
                  	The students of College and Junior College attend the class on Saturday and  Sunday
                  	under the way of teacher’s direct lecture.  Not only it allows  both  teachers  and
                  	students to communicate fact to face, make research and promotes learning effect,but
                  	also students could give  consideration to job that  indeed  is  a good  channel  of
                  	continuing education for on-job youth and the people in the society who are obliged to
                  	discontinue schooling.  The students of the Junior College  of  Continuing Education
                  	Affiliated to National Taichung University of Science and Technology  completing the
                  	required credits  will  be  awarded  associate bachelor degree, and  the students of
                  	College  of  Continuing  Education  Affiliated to  National  Taichung  University of 
                  	Science and Technology completing the required credits will be awarded bachelor degree.
